Your computer’s desktop is the starting point of your computing experience and affects your
overall productivity. If you currently have an overly cluttered desktop that is causing you
stress, you need to clean it up for the sake of your own sanity.

A file should only stay on your desktop if it’s something you’ll need to access frequently and
generally only on a temporary basis. Otherwise, find a suitable place for it to live.

       Share Point

Share Point is designed for content owned by the
team or group that manage the Share Point site as
part of an Office 365 Group. If your file is not personal,
draft or private – it should be on Share Point.

One Drive is designed for more personal documents
and files. If you are the sole owner of a file, not ready
       to share broadly

Share Point document libraries have tonnes of features
to make working with content more efficient

∙ Transparency - Better visibility of work

∙ More effective collaboration – All members can edit
         documents at the same time

∙ Fewer files being emailed – Version control is automatic so no changes or files are lost

∙ Alerts – Users can set SMS or email alerts when something is changed or added

∙ Filtering - Better filtering options to find what you need using custom metadata

∙ Granular permissions controls – Everyone can share files or restrict editing to a select few
